Coach Hazzard has over 21 years of coaching multiple levels of track and field in Colorado. Specifically, he works with the hurdle crew and helps handle daily operations. On average a Broomfield hurdler qualifies for the State Meet each year. He has also witnessed 61 athletes continue their track careers at the collegiate level, 21 of those athletes competing in Division I of the NCAA. He has been fortunate to be a part of seven top five finishes at the state level and looks forward to many more in the years ahead. In 2018, Coach Hazzard had the honor to instruct Mitchell Gorman to a school record and 5A State Title in the 300 intermediate hurdles. 

 

When not busy with track he is busy wrangling his three beautiful children Elliotte, Everett and Emmarie with his lovely wife Sharyl.
